Romanian CFR Cluj winger Yevhen Konoplyanka told us whether he was ready to play for the national club and also declared his readiness to go to the front.

Yevhen Konoplyanka

"I left Ukraine two weeks before the war and signed a contract with Krakow. I didn't know that the war would start, but if I had been in Ukraine, I would have preferred to stay. If a club from there called me, I would definitely play for them. But now I am here and I will still try to help Ukraine.

If I hadn't left before the war, I would definitely have stayed in Ukraine and continued to live and play in Ukrainian clubs. It's not a problem for me. If everyone left Ukraine, we would definitely be lost. Would you be able to fight at the front? Yes, of course, I think everyone can," Konoplyanka said in an interview with Prima Sport.

Залишитися в Україні до початку війни - не проблема, а повернутися в Україну під час війни виявилося проблемою. Краще б вже мовчав.
