On 16 September, one of the matches of the 4th round of the Italian Football Championship took place. Juventus (Turin) and Lazio (Rome) met.

Juventus scored a convincing victory over Lazio in a Serie A match played at the Allianz Stadium. Despite a strong start to the match, Juventus dominated the game, finishing the first half with a comfortable 2-0 lead. The final score was 3-1 in favour of the home team. The match started off with attacking action from both teams, but Juventus took the lead as early as the 10th minute. Dominik Vlahovic hit the net, giving his team the lead. Lazio tried to get back into the game, but the Juventus defence held firm. As the game progressed, outbursts of emotions led to a yellow card for F. Miretti on 8 minutes and Bremer on 16 minutes. But the hosts did not give up, and their persistence bore fruit: on 26 minutes Federico Chiesa scored a goal, increasing the lead to 2:0. The second half started with substitutions for both teams. On 46 minutes Lazio replaced E. Hisay with L. Pellegrini and D. Cataldi with N. Rovella. Juventus also made changes in the line-up: in the 59th minute N. Faggioli replaced F. Miretti and A. Cambiaso replaced F. Kostic. The match escalated, and in the 61st minute Juventus player F. Gatti received a yellow card. However, in the 64th minute Luis Alberto managed to get back on track, reducing the deficit to 2:1.
"Juventus reacted quickly, and in the 67th minute D. Vlahovic scored his second goal of the match, restoring the hosts' two-goal advantage. In the 68th minute, Lazio made a third substitution: K. Immobile replaced T. Castellanos. The teams continued to fight, and in the 72nd minute Juventus introduced V. McKennie in place of T. Vea. Lazio also made a fourth substitution, replacing Felipe Anderson with Pedro in the 73rd minute. Near the end of the game, A. Cambiaso received a yellow card for Juventus in the 77th minute. Lazio tried to get back into the game by introducing D. Camada instead of M. Guendouzi in the 78th minute. However, Juventus stood their ground, frustrating their opponents. There were more yellow cards in the match: D. Vlahovic received one in the 82nd minute, while L. Pellegrini was cautioned for Lazio in the 85th minute. "Juventus" made the last substitutions: A. Milik came on in place of F. Chiesa and M. Keane came on in place of D. Vlahovic in the 83rd and 84th minutes respectively. Later on, Lazio were unable to break down the Juventus defence, and the match ended 3-1 in favour of the hosts. The match demonstrated Juventus' attacking prowess and ability to control the game against a difficult opponent. Lazio, on the other hand, will be disappointed with their performance, especially the fact that they were unable to realise their chances. In the end, Juventus won and secured the three points in this Serie A match at the Allianz Stadium.
