Cagliari and Udinese battled it out on the pitch of the Unipol Domus Stadium in a fierce battle for relegation to Serie A. Despite a hard fought match, both teams ended the match in a goalless draw, leaving the score at half-time at 0-0, with the score remaining unchanged in regulation time. Despite the lack of goals, the game showed some interesting moments and a lot of drama. In the 38th minute, Udinese made the first substitution of the match, replacing C. Cabasele with E. Vetesca received a yellow card. Unfortunately for Cagliari, the evening got even worse: in the same minute a defender received a red card and his team were left with ten men. As a result, neither team was able to score and the match ended in a goalless draw. Both Cagliari and Udinese can be proud of their defensive play, which denied their opponents chances, and although the match may not have produced fireworks of goals, it was a thrilling and passionate affair. Fans can only hope that in the next meeting between these teams will be more emotions and goals.
