Pereira received a yellow card in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Monza made their fifth and last substitution: G. Kyriakopoulos replaced P. Pereira. Kyriakopoulos replaced P. Chiourria. Until the final whistle, both teams fought hard, but neither team was able to get the winning goal. As a result, the scoreline was 1-1, and Monza and Lecce each picked up a point.
