Las Palmas replaced Munir El Haddadi and Kyrian with Pejino and Javier Munoz respectively. In turn, Sevilla took O. Torres and L. Ocampos out of the game, replacing them with B. Soumare and E. Lamela. Despite the fact that Las Palmas fought until the final whistle, they failed to equalise and the match ended 1-0 in favour of Sevilla. The home side celebrated a hard fought victory, while Las Palmas were left to reflect on their missed opportunities. This result will certainly strengthen Sevilla's position in La Liga, solidifying their position in the standings. As for Las Palmas, they will be disappointed but will try to bounce back in the next match. The match between Sevilla and Las Palmas showed the rivalry and excitement that La Liga is famous for.
