Journalist and blogger Dmytro Povorozniuk expressed his opinion on the situation of former Dynamo forward Artem Milevskyi.

Artem Milevsky

"Milevsky's story answers the question: what is more important - talent or work on yourself? In this life, nature gave Milevsky a lot. At the age of 18, he was already in the spotlight - a super talent, a handsome man. Milya became a star with a huge salary, popularity, a hero of shows and parties.

His natural talent in football was enough not to work on himself or to direct - he lived vividly and enjoyed life.

Among hundreds of girls, Milevsky did not meet a woman for a family, did not become a responsible father. There were no parents or people who could influence him. We laughed at Igor Surkis, who sent his bodyguards to look for Milya around Kyiv. But maybe there was something to it?

At the peak of his career, his earnings were over $200,000 a month. But Milia was never able to secure his future, buy property, or invest. He did whatever he wanted and never regretted it. His generous soul treated everyone, wanted the most expensive alcohol, the most beautiful women, the most glamorous places, the coolest cars.

This went on for 15 years... After Dynamo, his earnings dropped 10 times, then 100 times. Now Artem was left alone. When the lights went out, all the butterflies flew away.

Instead of criticising, insulting and sarcastically addressing him, it is better to leave him alone. Milevsky has a future. He can be a media expert, an assistant coach in one of the clubs, a personal training coach, or even a barista and do his job responsibly and professionally every day.

We can draw parallels with the super talents of their generation - Gascoigne and Best. They had problems with alcohol and depression, and could not find themselves in a world without fanfare and worldwide love. But Milevsky chose this path on his own. It was his choice. There is a saying in Eastern philosophy: "You can't give a horse a drink if it doesn't want one." It is impossible to change a person if they do not want to.

For me, Milevsky will always be a legendary footballer. And a talent. A free artist on the pitch and in life," Povorozniuk wrote on his Instagram page.
