"Dnipro-1" after the dismissal of its former head coach Oleksandr Kucher considered the current coach of Poltava-based Vorskla Viktor Skrypnyk as one of his successors in this position, a well-known Ukrainian TV commentator Ihor Tsyganyk said.
"Skrypnyk was considered as a candidate for the post of head coach of Dnipro-1, but the parties did not agree on the terms of co-operation. Skrypnyk wanted about the same salary that he gets now in "Vorskla", and this is quite a lot of money", - said Tsyganik on air of his author's programme "Tsyganik LIVE".
As a result, Yuriy Maksymov became the new head coach of Dnipro-1, while Viktor Skrypnyk continues to work at Vorskla.
