Dynamo midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko shared his opinion on the victory in the Ukrainian league match against Vorskla, and also spoke about his conversation with Mircea Lucescu.
Volodymyr Brazhko. Photo by Yurii Yuriev- Volodymyr, you made your first appearance for Dynamo Kyiv this season, and you beat Vorskla quite confidently. How did the match look like from the thick of things on the football pitch?
- At first, I would like to say that my mood, as well as that of my partners, was not the best after we failed to qualify for the group stage of the Conference League. There were national team matches, and we caught our breath a bit during the two-week break. As for the match against Vorskla, I think we played good football and achieved a well-deserved victory.
- You could have decided everything in the first half, when you created a lot of chances at Isenko's goal...
- We could have, but our performance is a little bit limp. I hope that in the next matches we will improve it.
- After Serhiy Sydorchuk's transfer from Dynamo, the team's fans are counting on you as a starting player. Have you had a conversation with the team's head coach Mircea Lucescu?
- Yes, I spoke to our head coach. I won't talk about the details of our conversation, but I hope that the coaching staff will trust me. For my part, I will do my best to match the level of a player in the Dynamo Kyiv starting line-up.
- Volodymyr, have you fully adapted to Dynamo?
- Yes, I have. Experienced players tell me, of course, that I need to improve my understanding, but this will come with time.
- There were a lot of young players in Dynamo's application today. Can they strengthen the team?
- They can, of course. We have a good team.
- So far, Dynamo are in 7th place in the standings...
- We are not looking at the table yet. We have three more games to play. When we play them, then we will look at the table.
