Marseille head coach Marcelino Garcia Toral has decided to resign, L'Equipe reports.
In June, the 58-year-old specialist replaced Igor Tudor as the Provencal coach. Just three months after his appointment, Marcelino decided to leave the club. Under his leadership, the team was eliminated from the Champions League in the third qualifying round of the tournament, and fans expressed their dissatisfaction with the level of play shown by Marseille in the first rounds of the French championship.
