Borussia Dortmund, trying to get back into the game, made two quick substitutions in the 62nd minute.
Instead of N. Fulkrug and M. Reus, D. Malen and J. Brandt were introduced into the game, which gave the attacking line fresh energy. However, the match took a controversial turn in the 66th and 67th minutes when two Borussia players - N. Schlotterbeck and E. Kahn - received yellow cards. This further undermined their hopes of success. Borussia Dortmund did not give up and made two more substitutions in the 76th minute: E. Kahn and M. Wolf replaced J. Bynoe-Gittens and R. Rolfe. Bynoe-Gittens and R. Bensebaini. These substitutions should have intensified the game of the team, but the reliable defence of "Paris Saint-Germain" withstood. "Paris Saint-Germain" also made three late substitutions, seeking to consolidate their advantage. In the 80th minute, R. Kolo Muani and Vitinha came on in place of G. Ramos and Lee Kang-in. Later, in the 88th minute, L. Hernandez came on in place of D. Pereira. Towards the end of the match, the tension was growing, and in the 89th minute Borussia Dortmund's J. Ryerson received a yellow card. Despite their best efforts, Borussia Dortmund could not get back, and Paris Saint-Germain deservedly came out victorious. The match demonstrated the skill and determination of both teams, and in the end Paris Saint-Germain defeated an unyielding Borussia Dortmund 2-0.
