Head coach of Belgian Gent Hein Vanhasebroek summarised the results of his team's match against Zorya Luhansk (1:1) in the 1st round of the group stage of the Conference League, which took place yesterday in Lublin.
"Everything went wrong from the very beginning. We were not sharp, we were not active. All our actions looked stale, especially it was striking on the flanks.
Some players, instead of taking over the game when it was a decision to do so, just got rid of the ball, aimlessly giving it to someone else. At times it was not nice at all. Slow football in our performance. Incredibly slow," Vanhasebroek said after the match against Zorya.
