This match was an away match for our team and took place in Lebedyn at the LNZ Arena. It should be noted that in the previous rounds, the White and Blues won five victories and drew twice, so they had 17 points and were third in the standings. In the previous rounds, LNZ won twice, drew twice and suffered three defeats. Cherkasy scored 8 points and were in 9th place in the standings.
From the first minutes, Dynamo seized the initiative and began to put pressure on the home team's goal. At the beginning of the match, Ihor Kostiuk's men made a corner and a flank pass to the penalty area, and the opponents blocked Kremchanin's shot. In response, Cherkasy broke through closer to the Kyiv penalty area and earned a corner. After a set-piece from a Videnko set-piece and a second attack, Shcherbak struck at a second pace, but it went well over the goal.
Ponomarenko was close to success, but his powerful low shot from the penalty area was saved by goalkeeper Dubovyi. In general, the teams were both sharp, with the ball hardly staying in the middle of the pitch. Several times, Cherkasy got close enough to Surkis' goal, earned a corner kick and made several crosses into the White and Blues' penalty area. But all the home team's attempts were either blocked or reliably defended by our goalkeeper and defenders.
At the opposite goal, Kremchanin was active on both flanks. Although Dynamo failed to score a quick goal, the visitors achieved their goal in the 27th minute when Ponomarenko received the ball, entered the penalty area, beat the opponents and struck an irresistible shot from around the centre, putting his team ahead. Soon after, the hosts almost equalised after Lutsenko's shot from outside the penalty area - the ball flew a few centimetres over the crossbar.
We should also note a good low shot by Ponomarenko, to which Dubovyi reacted. It was not calm at the visitors' goal, but they managed to neutralise the threat. At the end of the half, our team earned a dangerous free kick near the right corner of the penalty area. It was taken by Kremchanin, the goalkeeper saved the ball, but Gusev was the first to finish, and he sent the ball into the net. However, a little earlier, the referee had called our player offside, so the goal was not scored.
Dynamo also started the second half actively, and after several attacks, our guys scored for the second time - and again it was Ponomarenko who did it. Balaba gave Matviy a great pass, he burst into the penalty area and hit the far corner of the goal with a rebound from the lawn - 2: 0. Soon after, Salenko responded to Kalyn's shot from the left and sent the ball into the net on the second attempt, bringing the score to a great score.
The guests continued to play the game from their dictation, so it was no surprise that they scored again later: Kalin put Ponomarenko one-on-one with the goalkeeper with a great pass, and Matvey once again skilfully converted his opportunity, striking a well-placed shot from the penalty spot. And at one point, a curiosity happened when two of our attacking players - Lobko and Kalyn - were in the striking position at once, but collided and prevented each other from striking.
At the end of the match, LNZ scored a prestige goal. Golichenko earned a penalty kick, and Lutsenko clearly and confidently converted it. Near the opposite goal, we note Ozymai's long-range shot, which Dubovyi jumped to the corner, and Gusev's attempt to score with his head after a corner kick. Kalyn even managed to score, but there was a rule violation before that, so the score did not change. Our players spent the last minutes of the match at the other side of the goal, taking several corners and crosses from the flanks, bringing the match to a logical victory.
