The young players of Dynamo Kyiv are in Italy on the occasion of an international football tournament that will start on 23 September in the evening in Turin. The tournament will be attended by peers of such teams as Juventus, Ajax, Milan, Atalanta, Espanyol, Chelsea, Slavia, Lokomotiva Zagreb, and Red Star.
Yesterday, a friendly match between the hosts and players of Dynamo Kyiv took place at the training base of Juventus Turin. The young players played 4 halves of 20 minutes each. This is the practice in Italy in youth football, they do not play 11 against 11, friendly games are played in four halves. Yesterday's match was played 9 on 9.
After the second half, the score was 3-0 in favour of Juventus. The third goal was scored by a young footballer of Ukrainian origin, Tomi-Mikhail Leshchynsky. In the third half, Denys Sytnyk's men almost levelled the score, with Mark Zagorodny scoring from the penalty spot and Vladyslav Zubko scoring in the last minute. In the fourth half, Dynamo equalised. Kyrylo Shumkov scored a goal, and they managed to take the lead after a goal by Maksym Proletarskyi.
Juventus players, after some unfortunate moments, managed not only to equalise but also to win. The match ended 5-4 in favour of Juventus.
Academy Director Oleksandr Ishchenko came with a group of young Dynamo players. The match was watched by the heads of the Juve Academy Pezoto and Milan.
