Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko scored his debut goal for his club's first team in the Ukrainian Premier League match against LNZ Cherkasy (4-2) in the 8th round of the Ukrainian championship, and shared his impressions of the game afterwards.

- We scored a quick goal and took control of the game. But after 25-30 minutes, perhaps, we got a little too comfortable, and chances began to arise near our goal. We started the second half somehow nervously, and eventually conceded a goal in reply. Then we realised that we needed to add to our efforts and score the second and third goals. After that, the game was completely under our control.
- Mircea Lucescu said that if you had scored the second goal quickly, having converted one of the chances, the game would have been much easier...
- Yes, we didn't realise many chances in the first half. We could have scored two or three goals. But the realisation let us down...
- You scored your debut goal in your trademark style - a long-range shot. Do the coaches tell you to use this strong point of yours more often?
- Sometimes I score with such shots in training, and my coaches advise me to try it in games. In previous matches, there was no such moment, but today I was driving the ball and no one was meeting me. That's why I decided to "test" the goalkeeper with a long shot. As Zhora Bushchan calculated after the game, I hit it from 32 metres. If so, this is my record so far. It's good that I hit the very corner. God help me to score like this so that this goal is not my last goal for Dynamo. Of course, all my partners congratulated me after the game on my debut goal.
- After Serhii Sydorchuk left the club, you had a good chance to gain a foothold in the first team... Do you realise that everything depends on you now?
- Yes, I'm happy for Serhii that he moved to one of the top championships, and at the same time, so to speak, gave me a way. I want to take advantage of this chance so that, as I said in an interview, everyone is happy - the coaches, me, and the fans. I will do my best and give my best.
- Comparing your level to when you first joined Zorya on loan, do you feel you've made progress?
- First of all, I gained invaluable experience playing on loan. As for my level, I feel that I have room to grow. This is only my second season in adult football and my first in the Dynamo first team. I have a lot to develop and progress. I will try to do my best in training and games to get better every day.
- Do you have any personal goals, perhaps scoring goals, for your first season in the Dynamo first team?
- The main thing is to win the championship. Everything else will come. Scoring goals is not my main task, although I have to do it too. But the main thing is to benefit the team so that Dynamo can win the championship.
