Brighton defeat Bournemouth 3-1 In a much-anticipated Premier League match, Brighton and Bournemouth met at the American Express Community Stadium. Both teams were keen to win three points, so the atmosphere in the stands was tense. The first half ended 1-1, but Brighton added to that in the second half, scoring two more goals to win 3-1. The game started very interestingly when in the 25th minute Bournemouth's D. Solanke hit the net, putting his team ahead. However, Brighton reacted quickly: just 12 minutes later, J. Veltman received a yellow card for a foul. The tension of the match was evident, both teams fought fiercely for control of the situation. Towards the end of the first half, Brighton player M. Kerkez scored an unfortunate goal into his own net, giving Bournemouth an unexpected advantage. Shortly before the break, B. Gilmour also received a yellow card for an untimely attack, which further aggravated Brighton's situation. At the beginning of the second half Brighton made two important substitutions: E. Ferguson came on in place of A. Fati, and F. Buonanotte - in place of K. Mitoma. These substitutions breathed new life into the team, and K. Mitoma immediately distinguished himself by scoring a goal in the 46th minute, levelling the score.
Both teams continued to fight for the lead, making several substitutions to freshen up their attacking options. In the 63rd minute Brighton brought on D. Welbeck in place of Joao Pedro, while Bournemouth brought on M. Tavernier in place of D. Ouattara. In the 64th minute J. Kluivert replaced A. Semenyo, hoping to turn the tide of the match in his favour. In the 77th minute Brighton finally took the lead when K. Mitoma scored his second goal of the match, giving the team a deserved advantage. The home side continued to apply pressure, showing their determination to win all three points. Towards the end of the game Bournemouth made two additional substitutions: R. Christie came on in place of H. J. Trusty. Christie replaced H.J. Traore and P. Billing replaced D. Brooks. Also hoping to save the match, L. Kelly was substituted in the 83rd minute in place of M. Senesi, while Brighton made a late substitution, replacing S. Adingra in the 87th minute. Adingra for T. Lamptey. The final minutes of the match were tense, with both teams looking to score a goal. When the final whistle blew, D. Brooks and M. Senesi received yellow cards for Bournemouth, adding to their frustration. In the end, Brighton prevailed in this exciting Premier League encounter. The home side showed their resilience and determination, turning the tide of the game after conceding a goal. K. Mitoma's double secured Brighton all three points, which could not but please their passionate fans.
