In an exciting football match between Lens and Toulouse at the legendary Stade Bollaert-Delelis, Lens came away with a 2-1 victory. In a tense battle between the teams, the score was tied 1-1 at half-time, but in the second half it was Lens who showed their resilience and determination and secured the victory. Said's strike gave Lens renewed vigour and they went into the break. In the second half, both teams made numerous substitutions, each of which was aimed at changing the course of the game. In the 46th minute Toulouse introduced V. Kamanzi instead of A. Donnum. This tactical move was followed by further substitutions for Toulouse: K. Keben and T. Dallinga came on in place of L. Costa and F. Magri in the 58th and 59th minutes respectively. "Lens also made their presence felt with a number of timely substitutions.
In the 63rd minute, P. Frankowski and V. Said made way for D. Machado and E. Wahi, allowing the team to find fresh energy. The third substitution soon followed - A. Diouf replaced M. Gilavogi in the same minute. Both teams fought fiercely for control of the game, which led to several yellow cards. In the 69th minute A. Donnum received a yellow card for a flagrant offence. In the 76th minute E. Vahi, a Lens player, also received a yellow card. As the game progressed, the tension only increased. In the 77th minute "Lens" decided to strengthen the attack, replacing A. Thomasson with N. El-Ainaoui. In response "Toulouse" in the 78th minute introduced J. Begraoui instead of K. Gélabert Pina, who scored a goal. In the final stage of the match Lens sealed the victory by scoring a goal by M. Gilavogui in the 84th minute. Gilavogui.
