Yevhen Khacheridi: "I did not sign any contract with Sturm. I am here if I want to be, I am not"

Former Dynamo Kyiv and Volyn Lutsk defender Yevhen Khacheridi commented on the information that he had joined the amateur club Sturm from Ivankiv.

Yevhen Khacheridi

- I did not sign any contract with Shturm. I just train with this team. This is the truth. The rest of the information is not.

I am not tied to this team, let's just say. I have no obligations. If I want to, I am here, in "Sturm", if I want to, I am not. I keep fit, exclusively for myself.

- 36 years old for a player of your calibre is far from retirement age. Paolo Maldini finished his career at 41, for example.

- I gave up big football a few years ago. The pause is too long.

- Is there really no desire to run around, even as an amateur?

- Life will tell. For now, I'm not making any predictions. I'm training, keeping fit. We'll see as we live.
