Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone shared his emotions after the 3-1 victory over Real Madrid in the Spanish league matchday 6.
"I'm happy, the team played a good match. When we were 2-0 up, we too often went back and gave the opponent opportunities to play in the areas where they were most dangerous. In the second half, we could have lost if we had continued to play the same way. Morata's goal put us back on track. We knew that the opponent had problems on the flanks.
Our club had great players, and Griezmann is one of them. He has no problems working in defence, doing what is needed, which is why he is one of our most important players. He has become an example for the young guys," Simeone was quoted as saying by AS.
