Carragher advises Ramsdale to leave Arsenal in winter

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes that goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale should leave Arsenal in January.

In the last three matches, Mikel Arteta has entrusted David Raya with the Arsenal goal. According to Carragher, the Spaniard can already be considered the Gunners' number one.

"I think Ramsdale will leave in January if he receives an invitation from a decent club. He has done very well - better than many people thought.

I really appreciate that Arteta has made his choice. I understand that he acted ruthlessly. But to be honest, I can't imagine Ramsdale returning to the starting line-up. Raya is number one, and Ramsdale needs to go. If he has the opportunity to leave in January and Arsenal get good money, it could well happen," Sky Sports quoted Carragher as saying.
