Catalan football club Barcelona has received new bribery charges in the Negreira case. This was reported by El Debate.

According to the source, the head of the Barcelona Investigative Court, Joaquin Aguirre, accused Barcelona of bribery in this case. The former presidents of the Catalan giants, Josep Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell, were also charged. Two other suspects are Jose Negreira and his son.
It is known that Barcelona sent a payment of €7.5 million to the official, which is considered a bribe, as Negreira was a civil servant who was prohibited from receiving any third-party payments.
