Well-known journalist and editor-in-chief of Football magazine Artem Frankov has prepared a forecast for the Ukrainian championship match between Dynamo and Oleksandriya.
"The main intrigue of the match is whether Dynamo has recovered from the stunning slap in the face from Obolon in the Ukrainian Cup.
It was scary to watch Mircea Lucescu on Wednesday, especially as it was not very usual to hear him admit his mistakes... Apart from that, everything remains the same - Dynamo's attack is creating chances (but not always realising them), the defence is consistently bringing something (and this is where the opponents almost always take advantage).
"A day earlier in the same Cup, Oleksandriya had won a dramatic victory away to Rukh (an own goal in the 90+5th minute) and is in a better mood. Unless, of course, we take into account the difference in the teams' position in the league: "Dynamo has 12 points in five matches and remains the potential leader of the UPL, while Oleksandriya has 8 points in eight matches and is mired at the bottom.
Given that Ruslan Rotan's team started with two wins in two rounds, in the last six matches they have drawn only twice, suffering such big home defeats as 0-3 against Polissia and 1-5 against Chornomorets... Maybe a cup victory will help to improve the game?
Although, of course, an angry Dynamo is considered a clear favourite, and the only difficulty is to find a bet with a normal coff.
My bet: 1 of (-2) for 2.97 - for Dynamo!" said Frankov.
