The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association made a number of decisions the day before, in particular:
- having reviewed the materials regarding the sending off of FC Shakhtar Donetsk's Yaroslav Rakytskyi during the 8th round of the UPL Rukh Lviv vs Shakhtar Donetsk match on 23 September, it suspended the player for two matches (for a serious game misconduct), of which one match was suspended.
In August, Dynamo defender Denys Popov was punished with a two-match suspension for a sending-off with the same wording.
