Defender Jerome Boateng will return to Bayern Munich, according to football insider Fabrizio Romano.
According to the source, the parties are finalising negotiations. The contract is expected to be signed within 24 or 48 hours. The German will join the "record holders" as a free agent. The 35-year-old centre-back left Lyon in July.
Boateng previously played for Bayern Munich from 2011 to 2021.
