UEFA mockery: head of Russian refereeing corps appointed for Antwerp vs Shakhtar Donetsk match

UEFA has made another scandalous decision by appointing former Serbian referee Milorad Majic, who now works in the structure of Russian football, as a referee inspector for the Champions League round 2 match between Antwerp and Shakhtar.

According to UEFA's official website, Majic will be the referee inspector for the Champions League group round game between Antwerp and Shakhtar.

The cynicism of this decision lies in the fact that the Serbian has been officially working in the structure of Russian football since this year, namely, he holds the position of the head of the refereeing department of the Russian Football Union (rfs). I wonder what UEFA officials will come up with this time, if they deign to comment on their disgraceful decision in any way.

Let us remind you that the Antwerp vs Shakhtar match will take place on Wednesday, 4 October. The game will be officiated by a Slovenian officiating team headed by Rade Obrenovic. The UEFA delegate is Jan Willem van Dop from the Netherlands. Kick-off is at 19:45.
