The Brazilian striker of Karpaty, Igor, praised the level of the Ukrainian First League and the coaching staff of Lviv.
- The level of the First League is actually quite high, it is a very competitive championship with great teams, very good players, and what I would note as a feature of Ukrainian football is, of course, the intensity and speed of the game. The game is played very dynamically here, and I noticed that from the very beginning. So, in fact, the intensity is a tangible difference here.
Working with Markevych is undoubtedly something special because he is a very important figure in Ukrainian football, he is a benchmark, and it is a great honour for us to work with him and learn from him every day. He has a lot to teach us and I think he gives us a lot of good information so that we can add to our individual game and thus develop a great teamwork. So I think that we, as players, should do our best and learn everything we can because he's a great coach and I think he has a lot to give us," said the legionnaire.
