Former Spartak Moscow footballer Yegor Titov sees no prospects for Russian players to progress in their championship in the conditions of Russia's total isolation and urges them to flee to Europe at the first opportunity.
"We have to run away if we have a chance! Run away as soon as possible. Because we have no progress. We can all see how much the level of our championship has dropped with the departure of foreigners. Even in the current realities, if you have options, you have to go and try.
Transition to Asia? We will always have time to go there. But there are Japan, South Korea and Australia. Where are the guarantees that in case of a match with them, they will not say: "Guys, goodbye, we will not play with you!". There are several national teams that are in a coalition against us, and it is not certain that they will play. And we are not going back to Europe. It is better to think a hundred times before making such a decision," Sport24 quoted Titov as saying.
