Today, Ukraine's U-19 national team (players not older than 2005) begins training in South Korea, which will last until 15 October. As part of it, the blue and yellows will take part in an international tournament. On the eve of the training camp, the team's head coach Oleh Kuznetsov answered questions from the UAF official website.
- Oleg Volodymyrovych, what goals will you pursue at this training camp?
- The last time we gathered was a year and a half ago, so it is extremely important to see what the team looks like and see the newcomers in action before the start of the European Championship qualifying round.
- There are no Shakhtar representatives on the list...
- Unfortunately, there will be no candidates from the Donetsk club who took part in the UEFA Youth League match at this training camp, they did not have time to come. Nevertheless, the guys are in good shape and will be in the national team's location before the start of the Euro qualifiers.
- Ukraine will play against South Korea, Vietnam and Morocco. What do you know about the opponents?
- We have practically no information - except for statistics on matches, goals, and the squad. I hope that we will have video footage of South Korea, with whom we play our first match in the tournament, on site. And we will look at Vietnam and Morocco in the course of the competition.
