Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer commented on the victory in the match against Burnley, which took place in the 8th round of the Premier League.
"It's a really good win for us and we're very pleased that we showed character and were able to get three points. We knew that it was important for us to get a good result before the international break, so yes, it's a great win for us.
"Burnley are a high level team, they keep the ball very well and we knew it would be a tough test. They have a good coach who is very tactically aware and we knew we would need to match their level of intensity. Fortunately, we did that, especially in the second half. Then I think we showed our class and were ruthless in the final part of the match," Palmer was quoted as saying by Chelsea's official website.
