On 28 minutes Verona's D. Coppola was sent off, and on 30 minutes Frosinone's K. Okoli was sent off. Verona players O. Duda and B. Amione also received yellow cards on 39th and 40th minutes respectively. Towards the end of the first half, Frosinone managed to take the lead on 45 minutes. Just before the break, Reinier scored the decisive goal, giving his team some much-needed momentum. In the 60th minute Verona made their first substitution: R. Saponara was replaced by R. However, Frosinone continued to attack and increased their lead in the 66th minute. In an attempt to turn the tide, Verona made two late substitutions on 77 and 83 minutes: K. Ngonge replaced F. Bonazzoli and D. Lazovic replaced J. Tchatchua. Frosinone also made tactical changes, replacing E. Barrenechea with M. Burabia in the 83rd minute. Near the end of the match, Frosinone made their final substitutions in the 90th minute, replacing M. Sule with A. Ibrahimovic, and L. Mazzitelli for P. Lirola. However, Verona had the last word in the match. In the final minutes of the match M. Djuric managed to get back on track, reducing the deficit to 2:1. Despite Verona's late goal, Frosinone held on and won an important victory in front of their fans. This match was a testament to their tenacity and ability to capitalise on their chances. The result of this match is important for both teams in Serie A. Frosinone will be confident in their strengths and will try to build on them in future matches. Verona need to regroup and analyse their mistakes in order to be stronger in the coming matches.
