Just seven minutes later, Wolves took the lead with a brilliant goal from Hwang Hee-Chan in the 53rd minute. However, Aston Villa quickly responded, levelling the score in the 55th minute thanks to a goal by P. Torres. The tension of the match continued to grow, which was accompanied by a number of disciplinary offences. In the 62nd minute, Wolves' player M. Lemina received a yellow card, followed by N. Semedo in the 67th minute.
Then both teams made crucial substitutions: M. Diaby replaced N. Zaniolo for Aston Villa in the 63rd minute and Joao Gomes replaced B. Traore for Wolves in the 69th minute. As time ticked away, the teams made further substitutions to strengthen their squads. In the 76th minute, Wolves brought on M. Cunha instead of S. Kalajdzic, and in the 82nd minute, Aston Villa brought on M. Cash instead of L. Bailey. In the 82nd minute, Aston Villa also made their last substitution, replacing B. Kamara with J. Thielemans. In the final stage of the match, Wolves continued to fight for the winning goal, but their efforts were hampered by the second yellow card received by M. Lemina in the 90th minute. Lemina in the 90th minute, as a result of which Wolves received a red card and were forced to finish the game with ten men. Being under enormous pressure and left with ten men, the Wolves stood firm, successfully defending their goal. The final whistle blew and the scoreboard read 1-1, reflecting the resilience and determination of both teams. The match demonstrated the competitive nature of the Premier League and the skill level of the players. Fans witnessed an exciting game, in which there was a lot of drama and excitement, because on the field fought "Wolves" and "Aston Villa".
