Former D.C. United coach Wayne Rooney plans to continue his coaching career in the English Championship.
According to BBC journalist Aaron Paul, the 37-year-old has already agreed on a deal with Birmingham. Rooney will replace the team's coach John Eustace, who may get a job in the Premier League during the next international break. Rooney's coaching staff at Birmingham will include John O'Shea and Ashley Cole.
After 11 rounds of the Premier League, Birmingham is 6th in the standings with 18 points.
