Luvumbo in an attempt to bring fresh energy into the game. A minute later, Roma also took the opportunity to make a substitution, bringing on P. Dybala instead of A. Belombo. Dybala instead of A. At the end of the first half, emotions flared up: J. Mourinho and E. Bove received yellow cards for taking part in a heated altercation. At the beginning of the second half Cagliari hoped to get back on track, but their hopes were quickly extinguished by Roma's persistent attacks. In the 51st minute A. Belotti increased the lead with a spectacular strike, leaving the Cagliari defence in confusion. "Cagliari" was unable to respond, and the situation became even worse, when in the 59th minute Lukaku again struck the opponent's goal. The Cagliari players were annoyed and after two minutes A. Obert received a yellow card. Both teams decided to introduce fresh faces into the game, with Cagliari making two substitutions at once. The appearance of A. Petagna and L. Pavoletti should have brought the necessary spark to the stagnant attack. In the 72nd minute, Cagliari looked like they had a chance of salvation when M. Prati appeared to have scored a goal, but his attempt was disallowed due to offside. Despite the setback, Cagliari continued to fight and a penalty was awarded in the 86th minute. N. Nandes confidently stepped into the striking position, but the Roma goalkeeper with an incredible shot prevented him from scoring a consolation goal. The match ended with a confident victory of "Roma" with the score 4:1. Overall, Roma's performance was a testament to the team's skill and determination, while Cagliari are left to work on improving their form in Serie A. The match at the Unipol Domus stadium will surely be remembered for Roma's dominant performance.
