Head coach of the North Macedonia national team Blagoja Milevski commented on the start of preparations for the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Ukraine.

I would say that those who have started the preparation are our reality at the moment, although we would all like to have 50-60 players in the squad. We are already reaching the finish line, where all the matches are decisive. We, as well as Ukraine, are satisfied only with a victory in order to be in an optimal situation before the November matches. I expect an open game, because nobody will play for a draw.
We have analysed the first game against the Ukrainians, especially the last 30 minutes. We noticed anomalies and positive moments. We will have to correct a lot of things based on the experience of the first match. We want to win, we work only for such a result, no matter what opponent we play with. The atmosphere in the locker room has improved after the September matches, - said the Macedonians' coach.
