Oleksandr Aliyev: "We will definitely squeeze the Russian evil from our land! But the war is still a long way off"

Former Dynamo Kyiv and Ukrainian national team midfielder Oleksandr Aliyev, who joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the first days of the war, shared the latest news from the frontline.

"It is more or less calm in Izyum, but I was not only there. I also travelled to Lyman and Siversk, where it is very noisy. I can say that the situation is not the best. I go there as a soldier, not as a volunteer, and I try to visit all the guys if I can.

Do you manage to push the occupiers out of their positions? That's what we are, Ukrainians! We will definitely squeeze the Russian scum out of our land. But the war is still a long way off, so there is no need to relax," Sport Express quoted Aliyev as saying.
