Ukrainian forward Nazariy Rusyn of Sunderland spoke in an interview with the VZBIRNA telegram channel about his adaptation in the country and the club.
- Last time you failed to make your debut for the national team. What positive things did you learn from that first experience?
- I got to know the Ukrainian national team, how everything works here, what a high level of players there is. This trip gave me a lot.
- Now you've come from the Premier League, where you are a substitute. Have you already felt what it's like to play in the Premier League?
- The level is high, it's a very good championship, the pace is high and the players are very good with the ball, all the guys are very technical. It's a great experience for me. I'm very happy to be in a team where I can play and develop.
- How much faster is football played there than in Ukraine?
- The pace is much faster, every team can beat every team there. Almost all clubs are equal, only Leicester stands out more or less. The games are very hard, there are no easy matches.
- How difficult is it for you?
- I'll put it this way - it's like another planet. It's difficult for me because I don't know the language - this is the main problem. Communication is very important for footballers. It's hard, but it's okay, I'm getting used to it little by little. Now my family will move and it will be easier. I need time, I understand that I am in no hurry, I try to listen to the coach, do what he wants and just get used to it.
