The national team of Ukraine continues in Prague to prepare for the Euro 20204 qualifying match with the national team of Northern Macedonia, which will take place in this city tomorrow, October 14.
Last Thursday, the national team's programme included theory in the afternoon and practice in the evening. After the warm-up, which also included exercises with balls, the Blue and Yellows played a lot of games. They worked on short accelerations, completing attacks and passing accuracy. Head coach Serhii Rebrov continues to pay much attention to tactics in preparation for the game against North Macedonia.
This time, 25 players trained in the general group. Denys Popov, who is still working individually, is already doing running accelerations, so his rehabilitation is going according to plan.
Yesterday's training session at the Strahov stadium was the fifth in a row for the Ukrainians and the last full training session at the local Sparta training centre. Today, the national team will change the turf, as they will hold an official training session at the Epet Arena (the stadium of the same Sparta), where the qualifying match with the Macedonians will take place on Saturday. Before the training session, the head coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhii Rebrov and one of the team's players will meet with journalists in the arena's conference room and give a pre-match press conference.
