"Rusin is the type of player who has all the qualities to be successful in England," the agent

Football agent Andriy Kirichenko, who handled the transfer of Ukrainian striker Nazariy Rusin from Luhansk Zorya to English Sunderland, said what he thinks about the prospects of this player in England.

Nazarius Rusin

- You dealt with the transfer of Nazariy Rusin to Sunderland. Why was the transfer delayed?

- We have good relations with the club, because we had earlier made a transfer of Ukrainian forward Timur Tuterov from Kolos. After receiving a request to find a forward who can also play on the wing, we considered different candidates. We suggested Nazariy Rusin, having agreed the issue with his agent Vadim Shabliy. The negotiation process began. Together with Shabliy we managed to formalise the transfer.

The process was delayed, because the parties could not come to a compromise, satisfying both clubs. Through negotiations we managed to agree on everything. Everyone was satisfied. For a long time, the clubs were haggling over the cost of the player. This was the main hitch.

- Will Nazariy be able to play in England?

- He is the type of player who has all the qualities to be successful in Foggy Albion. The coach of the team and the club leaders like him. He will try to prove himself in the Championship, and then life will show. Perhaps he will attract the attention of an APL club or the Black Cats will go there themselves.

- The Championship is a shop window for a player?

- It's an English market. APL clubs are closely following the tournament. The player is already adapted to English football, life in the country. Therefore, the risks here are much less than inviting a player from another championship. Every transfer window there are transfers to the APL or strong European championships.

The league level itself is high. There are 10 clubs that can qualify for the APL. I believe that the level of the championship is definitely in the top 7 in Europe.
