Brazilian defender Danilo was forced to leave the field early during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Venezuela (1-1) due to a muscle injury.
"I know my body. As soon as it happened, I realised I was in pain. I won't be available for the match against Uruguay," Danilo said after the match.
The 32-year-old Juventus defender, who officially took over the captain's armband in the summer following the departure of Leonardo Bonucci, has played every available minute for the Bianconeri this season, appearing in all eight matches.
