"Life on the football field never ends, it transforms and takes on new forms. When I first stood in goal, I dreamed of this 'number one game in the world' and did not even dream that I would defend the colours of the most famous club in Eastern Europe and become the player with the most matches played for Dynamo...

Many years have passed since then... Today I am already in a new role - the role of a coach. This position has opened and continues to open the world of football for me in a new capacity. The game of millions has always been more than just a game for me. It is a life philosophy where every training session and every match is like a little life that you can live only once.

And I am glad that now I can be a mentor for those who believe in their dreams as strongly and inevitably as I believed in mine," Shovkovsky wrote on his Facebook page.
