Shakhtar midfielder supports Palestine

Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder and Tajik national team player Khusrav Toirov posted a story in support of Palestine on his Instagram page.

Toirov made two reposts from pro-Palestinian publics. To the first repost, Khusrav added the Palestinian flag and the heart emoji, and signed the second in Russian as follows: "I am Allah, may there be peace in the world."

Interestingly, Toirov's teammate at Shakhtar is Israeli centre-back Stav Lemkin, who recently thanked Ukrainians for supporting his homeland in an interview with the club's press service.
