Guardiola spent three hours trying to convince Bellingham to join Man City

Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola spent hours trying to convince Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham to join the Citizens.

According to Cadena Ser, the talks included a three-hour conversation during which the Citizens' coach stressed that the Premier League would be a better option and that City were in a better phase of development than Real Madrid. In the end, Bellingham decided to move to Spain despite a more favourable offer.

Bellingham's transfer cost a whopping €131 million.
