Apparently, the construction of new stadiums for AC Milan and Roma is being handled by the Italian state. This was confirmed to Football Italia by the Minister of Sport Andrea Abodi.
The country plans to co-host the 2032 European Championships with Turkey, and for that it will need new, more modern facilities, as the old San Siro and Olimpico have long since fallen behind modern sporting trends.
