In the course of the match both teams made several substitutions trying to achieve success. For Poland, P. Dziczek replaced B. Slisz in the 46th minute, and for Moldova, V. Damascan replaced M. Cojocaru in the 60th minute. These changes brought fresh energy into the game and gave new dynamics to the game actions of the teams. In the 72nd minute Poland made a triple substitution, replacing S. Szymanski with F. Marchwinski, A. Milik with A. Buksa. Buksa, and P. Wszolek for J. Kaminski. Kaminski.
