Mykola Neseniuk: "Both Rebrov and Shevchenko are now in the right places"

The well-known journalist Mykola Nesenyuk spoke about the current roles of two Ukrainian football legends, Serhiy Rebrov and Andriy Shevchenko.

"They say that it is not the place that adorns the person, but vice versa. But it is when a person is in the right place. During the recent matches of the Ukrainian football team, the TV regularly showed us two outstanding Ukrainian players in the past - Andriy Shevchenko and Serhiy Rebrov. They have been shown to us before, but right now, it seems to me, both are in the right place. Serhii Rebrov is on the coaching bench of the national team, while Andrii Shevchenko is on the stand for the guests of honour.

Judge for yourself - over the years of his coaching career, Rebrov has earned himself a serious resume and deservedly took the most honourable place for a Ukrainian coach, and Shevchenko, despite his not entirely successful coaching experience, has remained and will remain for many years to come perhaps the most famous Ukrainian in the world, whose authority, gained through his performances on the football field, now works for Ukrainian football. And not only for football.
