Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is set to return to the pitch after almost a year of recovery from injury, German journalist Florian Plettenberg reports on his Twitter page.
The 37-year-old goalkeeper is expected to return to the pitch in Munich's next match against Mainz on Saturday, 21 October. Neuer plans to return to the starting line-up immediately, despite his long absence.
