"I regret three things. I wish I had never left that Inter team, although it was Benitez who insisted on my departure. Perhaps I could have written my name in the history of the Nerazzurri.
Also, looking back, I would never have left Manchester City and I would not have joined Liverpool either," Calciomercato quoted the 33-year-old as saying.
It will be recalled that in 2010, Balotelli left Inter after four years with the Milanese.
