"Yarmolyuk's debut in the APL is close, I like him," - Brentford head coach

Head coach of English Brentford Thomas Frank anosnised the imminent debut in the APL of his team's Ukrainian midfielder Egor Yarmolyuk.

Thomas Frank

"Yarmolyuk's debut in the APL is close. He was in good form when we started pre-season training, but failed to gain momentum in time in terms of rhythm and decision-making. At the same time, I saw a lot of good and positive actions in his performance and he caught my attention.

Yarmolyuk is a typical "eight" on the pitch. He is very good in pressing and in terms of passing. I like him. In several matches I thought about releasing him as a substitute, but for various reasons it did not happen," - quotes Frank The Athletic.

Recall, Yarmolyuk moved to Brentford in the summer of 2022 from Dnipro 1. Before the start of the current season, the Ukrainian would have been transferred to the first team of his club, but so far has played for it only once, in a League Cup match.
