Renowned Spanish coach Oscar Garcia received an offer to take up the post of Shakhtar Donetsk head coach, but the Ukrainian club refused, according to L'Equipe.
According to the source, the 50-year-old received an invitation to work with the Pitmen almost immediately after the dismissal of Shakhtar's previous coach Patrick van Leeuwen.
We would like to add that Garcia's last club was French side Reims, which he coached from 2021 to 2022. Since then, the coach remains unemployed.
