"Honestly speaking, I would not like to talk about Shakhtar and Dynamo, because this is their business. They are going through such a period now. I believe that I am not yet competent in this matter. I wish them that everything gets better on the Euro arena, that they do well.

Of course, they have the most selected material in terms of players. The strongest Ukrainian performers play there. So I think that they will do well, they will stabilise and show results. These teams play with reserves. They fail somewhere, but we understand that they can quickly pick up the pace and gain the points they lack.

So a lot will depend on us, whether the guys are ready to fight with our leaders. It's one thing when you play inside the table and there is no pressure on you. You play calmly. And quite another situation when you are fighting for something big, and you have no right to make a mistake - it's pressure. You realise that there is someone breathing down your back. That's why it's a little bit hard here. Let's hope that the guys are mentally strong and ready for it. Fighting for both survival and something big is very hard.

It's very early to talk about it now. Everybody understands it. Right now we are going from game to game. It is very easy to lose your head when you are not in your place, as some people think. We are calm about it. We play from our game, not from the table, not from the point margin. Of course, we want to be there, but it all depends on us, how we approach it mentally and psychologically. That's the most important thing.

You can't be in the clouds. One or two games and everything can change. Of course, we know where we are. We realise that this is just the beginning and we still have a long way to go. We understand how we play and what we are aiming for. We have a lot of work to do. We want to play the kind of football that will help us and make sure we're in the position we're in now. But we have a lot of work to do in that direction.

I think it is too early for us to look at the table - only the 10th round has passed. We must be focused on every training session, every game and go, as they say, step by step. Yes, the first place is nice, but everyone understands everything. There is no need to make a furore out of it. Several teams did not play their matches. We have a very difficult calendar ahead. We hope that we will play football that will give us results. This is the most important thing now. We will look at the standings a little later," Tribuna quoted Vernidub as saying.
