On Friday, 20 October, Obolon hosted Zorya in the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship. The rivals had an effective confrontation, with the Luhansk team winning 4-2.
An interesting episode in the match also took place in the 27th minute when Zorya were awarded a penalty kick by the referee after consulting with VAR for a foul by Roman Vantukh in their own penalty area.
It turned out that Obolon had two candidates to take the eleven-metre spot-kick. Serhii Sukhanov and Rostyslav Taranukha settled the dispute over who would be the penalty taker in an original way, resorting to a rock-paper-scissors game.
The former won, while the latter didn't seem to be happy about losing, throwing the ball on emotion. However, Sukhanov hit the spot, making it a double.
Эх, жидковаты нынче спорщики :-)))
